MY URBAN PIANO finds its completion in a prayer for which I had already written the music back in 2005 while staying on the Greek island of Patmos. For this, the final episode, I arranged “Agios o Theos” for piano and a children’s choir, which I then recorded in Athens — the first city to bear the title of European Capital of Culture back in 1985 — with a group of children and a Byzantine soloist.
Den Abschluss von MY URBAN PIANO bildet die Vertonung eines Gebets, die ich bereits 2005 auf der griechischen Insel Patmos geschrieben hatte. Für die letzte Episode arrangierte ich „Agios o Theos“ für Klavier und Kinderchor, um sie in Athen — der ersten europäischen Kulturhauptstadt in 1985 — mit einer Gruppe von Kindern und einem byzantinischen Solisten aufzunehmen.
